Welcome to the Heather Ivy Society

Living with HIV can sometimes be a lonely experience. In addition to having a life-changing condition, you may have to deal with the stigma attached to it. The Heather Ivy Society is committed to providing a nurturing community of support for HIV-positive women, who may experience worry, fear, embarrassment, or shame in living with an HIV diagnosis.

Since 2012, the mission of our society in Atlanta, GA, for women living with HIV, has been to provide a secure forum and support network where women can obtain peer and professional guidance on HIV-related women’s health issues. We seek to encourage women to find their own worth and develop healthy self-acceptance. By providing our members with practical knowledge and skills, we help them lead a truly positive life.
